TPACK group discussion
Technology is a tool, but it is not the only tool.
It can make teaching a lesson easier or more engaging, but it's not the only way, and it is not only best. When you combine the pedagogy and content, the technology has to be relevant. There isn't a blanket technology that covers everything. You never get it right- you have to keep trying to make it better and better. The reality is that your students are attached to technology, so preparing them for that, is as important as the pedagogy. You have to adapt to your context. Maybe your school lacks resources, but all your students probably have a phone with a camera. Different technologies can be adapted to the students. For example, with younger kids, you might take yesterday's photogram and have them draw a picture rather than take one.No such thing as a solution to a wicked problem. What might work for one class might not work for another.
