Read. Think. Write.
"We live in a decaying age. Young people no longer respect their parents.
They are rude and impatient. They frequently inhabit taverns and have no self-control."

True feeling, I think. We all look back at how things worked when we were young. How we dealt with issues and what we thought about them at the time. I think we find it hard to accept the fact that we had to work hard to get something done, or to understand it, and so we grew from it, or learned a great deal. The struggle contributed to what makes us us. So when we see the next generation getting by more easily, where we can't see that struggle, we think they're, "going to hell in a handbasket."
The idea of nostalgia from Shulman's Four Corners- "that's how it was done when I grew up..."
Kids these days...
